REO SPEEDWAGON’S “FAMILY FIRST” TOUR COMING TO FLORIDA THEATRE SEPTEMBER 24 8PM * * * * * Following another successful year of touring, which included their first ever co-headlining run with Chicago (which is featured as an AXS TV concert special), REO Speedwagon is hitting the road again, now on their “Family First” tour. This year’s run, which kicked-off with a sun-soaked date in Cancun, Mexico, before heading back to the U.S., will include a more selective schedule than recent REO Speedwagon tours. The band members have arranged 2015 to spend more time at home with their loved ones -- so, it’s definitely “family first” for REO this year, hence the tour name. REO frontman Kevin Cronin explains, "REO Speedwagon has always been a family oriented band. We put family first with every move we make. That said, we will still be out rocking with our REO family this summer, just not quite as many shows this year." REO fans in Jacksonville are lucky, as one of the very few dates this year is scheduled for Florida Theatre.
