This document is intended to be used in conjunction with the current WSDOT Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal Construction and current city policies and procedures. This edition and updates apply whenever any public or private work is performed within the street rights of way or public easements of the City of Everett including work performed by private parties at their own expense under authority granted by ordinance of the City Council or permit process of the Public Works Department. A document such as this is constantly being updated due to new technology, environmental considerations, federal and state regulatory requirements, changes in policy or procedures and methods of design and construction. Updates to this manual will be posted to the City web page (www.everettwa.gov) as they are approved and the version posted on the City Web Site shall be considered the most current for Public Works and private development.
