Mississippi Report Card for 2001-2002 CD The data files on this CD are either in HTML (web page) format or PDF (Portable Document Format). The information below will help you use the Report Card CD. Mississippi Report Card for 2001-2002 CD Macintosh Users When you insert this CD in the CD drive on a Macintosh computer, the computer should place an icon on the computer screen. Click on the icon, then click on file RC2B. The computer will launch your web browser and the Table of Contents will be displayed. From the Table of Contents other Report Card information can be selected by clicking on the displayed links. Windows Computer Users This CD contains files; it is not an executable program or a computer application, which means no file will automatically open. When you insert this CD in the CD drive on your Windows computer, you must manually open the file. There are several ways to do this. • Select "My Computer" from the Windows desktop, locate the CD drive, and click on file RC2B (the file may be displayed as RC2B.htm). -OR- • Use Windows Explorer (or NT Explorer, etc.) to locate the CD drive and click on file RC2B (the file may be displayed as RC2B.htm). -OR- • Click on the Windows "Start" button and select "Run." Then locate the CD drive and click on file RC2B (the file may be displayed as RC2B.htm). -OR- • Launch your preferred web browser (e.g., Netscape or Internet Explorer). Open file RC2B in the browser. In Netscape, use the File, Open Page, and Choose File options. Locate the CD drive and click on file RC2B (RC2B.htm). In Internet Explorer, use the File, Open, and Browse options. Locate the CD drive and click on file RC2B (RC2B.htm). Using the first three methods above on a Windows computer will launch your preferred web browser and automatically load file RC2B. In you are using the File/Open option from within a web browser, the file will be opened when you click on the filename. The Table of Contents will be displayed. From here other Report Card information can be selected by clicking on the displayed links.
