That the Duval County School Board authorize the Board Chairman or Vice Chairman, and the Superintendent, to execute the agreement contingent upon form approval by the Office of General Counsel. Description The district continues to have a partnership with Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) and is committed to offering dual enrollment courses in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Teachers in the district have been credentialed by ERAU which qualifies them to teach dual enrollment courses. In an effort to continue to build capacity and offer STEM related dual enrollment, the district will work collaboratively with ERAU to identify highly qualified adjunct university instructors to teach dual enrollment courses when a high school teacher is not available. The district will pay salary directly to the university for these adjunct professors. The high schools offering ERAU dual enrollment courses include the following: Andrew Jackson High School, Baldwin High School, Duncan Fletcher High School, Englewood High School, Edward White High School, First Coast High School, Jean Ribault High School, Robert E. Lee High School, Mandarin High School, Paxon High School, Samuel Wolfson High School, Sandalwood High School, Terry Parker High School, and Westside High School.
