END OF TERM II School will close for the end of Term II at 2.00pm on Friday 02 July and re-open for Term III at 8.45am on Monday 19 July. Friday will bring to a close a most rewarding and productive term. It has been an extremely busy Term with Zone Sports Competitions, Local Schools’ Art Festival, Electives, Reports and a most successful Performing Arts Festival as well as all important classwork. Most students have grasped the variety of learning experiences offered them in the class and in the school wide programmes and have been rewarded for their efforts and initiatives. I would like to thank parents/caregivers for the support and encouragement they have given us during the course of the last 10 weeks, in terms of encouraging their children to participate and supporting homework and class programmes. Also a special thank you to the many parents/caregivers previously mentioned in Newsletters who have assisted with specific activities. On behalf of parents/caregivers, I would like to both thank and compliment the teaching and support staff for their efforts during the course of the term. Their commitment and professionalism in the classroom and in the activities in the wider corporate life of Pasadena Intermediate are key reasons for the success of this school. On Friday we will sadly say farewell to our wonderful receptionist, Mrs Erynn Riesterer. She is leaving us to commence a teaching qualification. Thank you Erynn for everything and best wishes. Thank you also to the members of the Board of Trustees for their support, guidance and efforts during the term.
