This will be the 65th all-time meeting between King’s and Wilkes in a series that dates back to the first two meet- ings in the 1981-82 season The Monarchs hold a commanding King’s Schedule/Results 46-18 lead in the series including winning the last seven matchups. The Monarchs are 24-8 as the home team in the series and are 38-3 Date Opponent Time / Result against the Colonels in the last 41 meetings. The Colonels three November wins have come by a combine seven points and two have been in overtime. King’s won the first meeting this year 75-59 at the Marts 15 @ Neumann University W, 70-67 Center a few weeks ago. • Playoffs?. King’s is looking to wrap up their first poseason berth 17 vs. #19/#13 University of Scranton% L, 52-64 since the 2012-13 season. The Monarchs currently hold a one game 18 vs. Marywood University% W, 77-74 lead on three teams locked in a three-way tie for third in the stand- ings. However, King’s also is still very much alive for the top seed 21 Keystone College W, 77-52 in next week’s conference tournament. The Lady Monarchs are one 29 Susquehanna University L, 61-62 game back of FDU-Florham and will host the Devils on Saturday. • Block Party. The Lady Monarchs will look to finish the season December among the nation’s top 25 teams in blocked shots for the third consecutive year. A season after finishing ranked 16th in total 4 @ Centenary University W, 71-55 blaocks and eighth in the nation with 6.3 blocks per game, King’s 7 Gwynedd Mercy University W, 58-53 has struggled to match the same pace but still lead the conference and are ranked 23rd in the nation with 121 total blocks and 25th 17 Albright College L, 58-65 with 5.3 per game. Senior Olivia Hoffman is currently the school 29 @ The Catholic University of America$ L, 50-69 record holder with 341 blocks in her career and is ranked fourth in the nation among active players in career blocks in all three NCAA 30 vs. Vassar College$ L, 61-70 divisions and second in Division III. This year she leads the confer- ence and is ranked fourth in the nation with 83 total blocks and January fourth in blocks per game with 3.77. Sophomore Rebecca Prociak 3 Delaware Valley University* W, 65-51 is second on the team with 17 blocks and junior Alexis Steeber has recorded 15 blocks. Senior Rachael DeTore has two, while junior 6 @ Eastern University* W, 48-41 Lindsey Dippre, sophomore Mackenzie Yori, sophomore Kayla 8 @ Lycoming College L, 55-62 Dillinger, and freshman Alexis Houghton have one each. • Post Play. The Monarchs will look to have a noticeable pressence in 10 @ FDU-Florham* L, 66-75 the post this season. Two of the three starting post players are aver- aging double-digits points this season and all three have recorded 13 Manhattanville College* W, 46-39 double-double performances. Rebecca Prociak leads the team 17 @ Misericordia University* L, 38-64 scoring 13.8 points per game and grabbing 8.6 rebounds with eight double-doubles. Alexis Steeber is scoring 12.2 points and adds 20 @ Wilkes University* W, 75-59 5.6 rebounds per game with two double-doubles. Olivia Hoffman 24 DeSales University* W, 55-50 is averaging under double-digits with 8.4 points but is second on the team with 8.5 rebounds and leads the team with 3.1 assists per 27 @ Manhattanville College* W, 65-62 OT game with two double-doubles. Including her blocks, Hoffman is a double-double threat every game and has even flirted with a triple- 31 @ Delaware Valley University* W, 65-57 double multiple times this season. February • Getting to the Line. The Lady Monarchs will look to use their strong inside game to draw fouls and get to the line this year. King’s 3 Eastern University* W, 58-44 has gotten to the line 409 times and have made 256 of their at- 8 Misericordia University* W, 74-59 tempts while drawing 404 fouls. Rebecca Prociak leads the team and the conference with 143 attempts while Alexis Steeber has 10 @ DeSales University* L, 56-61 95 attempts. Mackenzie Yori has taken 43 attempts while Rachael DeTore has gone to the charity stripe 37 times. Olivia Hoffman has 13 Wilkes University* 6:00 p.m. recorded 36 free throw attempts and Lindsey Dippre has 28. 17 FDU-Florham* 1:00 p.m. • Last Meeting. Alexis Steeber scored a career-high 23 points, including 13 in the third quarter to lead King’s to a 75-59 victory over Wilkes on January 20, 2018 at the Marts Center. The Mon- * MAC Freedom Game archs broke open a game that was tied 32-32 at the half by outscor- ing Wilkes 43-27 over the game’s final 20 minutes. Steeber added % Cross County Challenge @ Wilkes 10 rebounds to her 23 points while Rebecca Prociak had 19 points and seven rebounds.
