Unique EHL Hockey Clinics in Eindhoven From 14 to 17 April, the knock-out stages (KO16 and KO8) of the Euro Hockey League (EHL) will take place on the fields of HC Oranje-Rood in Eindhoven. During 12 top level Hockey matches the 16 qualified teams will battle for the four tickets to the final weekend of the EHL on 3rd and 4th June in Brasschaat - Belgium. In addition to these top hockey matches, 6 European junior teams (U14) will fight for the title in the ABN-AMRO Junior EHL. EHL hockey clinics Beside this, at the EHL Hockey park in Eindhoven a lot of different activities and events will be organized around these top level hockey matches. For the first time in EHL history we will organize a unique EHL Hockey Clinic for three days. Specifically for children at the age of 8 till 15 years who want to improve their hockey skills. The clinics will be given on Saturday around HC Oranje-Rood against Amsterdam and on Sunday and Monday around the two KO8 matches. Pim Wijzenbeek – top Dutch hockey coach - designed a specific clinic where you will learn the latest new hockey skills under guidance of a (inter)national hockey player. During these clinics your new learned skills will be evaluated through live footage on IPads and your ball speed will be measured by specialized equipment. In addition to this training you will visit and analyse a specific EHL match together with your trainer. A unique combination! Top trainers On Saturday, the clinic will be guided by former Dutch international and HC Oranje-Zwart player Rob Reckers (167 caps, 47 goals and winner of the EHL-title in 2015 with HC Oranje-Zwart). On Sunday Belgian top international and former KHC Dragons and SV Kampong player Loïck Luypaert -146 caps and silver medal winner with the Belgian team at the last Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro - will take the honours.
