To My Fellow Hobbyists, Welcome to our first auction of 2011. In response to feedback from our consignors and bidders, who liked our smaller but more frequent auctions last year, we plan to run six auctions with each one ending the end of each odd month and our deadline for submissions being the middle of each even numbered month. It will make things easy and allow us to meet everyone's needs. Exact dates will be available on our website and by email. We welcome your feedback at all times and look forward to a successful 2011 for everyone. This auction is going to have all items end on one night, January 27, rather than over a two-day period. With all that said, once again our dedicated team has outdone itself in assembling this fantastic array of rare, unusual and one-of-a-kind items. Dave Stoddard has added even more new features that continue to keep our site simple and user friendly while incorporating new and useful ideas. Kevin Heffner has decided to relinquish the head writer duties to James Feagin, who is more than ready for this task. Many of you have worked with James in the past, and you will get more of a chance as we move forward. You won't be disappointed. Kevin will still be working with us but in a more limited capacity while he starts a family. Congrats dude and thanks!! Mark Raines and our new "crunch time" writer Joe DelGrippo have worked tirelessly to get these lots written, and our former writer turned photographer Matt Flores along with our "man of many hats" Stefan Wisinski have captured all the images. Randy Curtis, who will also take on some of Kevin's duties as far as working with consignors, and Ricky Huggins, our utility man, have worked tirelessly without missing a beat. Many of you will get to know Randy this coming year, and you will be as pleased as we are with his "passion for perfection." Mark Spinrad has swept the catalog for #@%#”s, and Josh Wulkan and Stefan have given Mike Henry the “canvas and paint” they need to create another masterpiece.
