USC fell to No. 5 and ARIZONA STATE made their way into the rankings for the first time since 2002, coming in at No. 18 after upsetting No. 2 Texas and receiv- ing votes the past two weeks. No. 8 STANFORD, No. 11 UCLA and No. 20 OREGON stayed put at their respective rankings … Three teams in the Conference remain undefeated as UTAH, Washington and WASHINGTON STATE lead the standings so far. The Utes and Cougars are both 10-0 through the season, while the Huskies stand at 6-0 … Arizona State, CALIFORNIA and USC all dropped their first set of the year this past weekend. The Sun Devils and the Lady Trojans both suffered losses to host teams in their respective tournaments, both coming against teams ranked in the top 15 in the country … COLORADO are riding an eight-game win streak as they have a free weekend before their Pac-12 schedule begins … UW’s Krista Vansant was named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week, while ASU’s Bianca Arellano earned weekly defensive honors. USC’s Elise Ruddins was tabbed the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week, the second Trojan this season to earn the honor.
