For more details please visit our website: http://omicsonline.org/Submitmanuscript.php Editor JBR Journal of Interdisciplinary Medicine and Dental Science Mohammad Hosein Kalantar Motamedi Professor Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Baqiyatallah University of Medical Sciences Iran Biography: Dr. Mohammad Hosein Kalantar Motamedi is currently Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Trauma Research Center, BMSU, and attending faculty at the Department of OMF Surgery, Azad University of Medical Sciences, Tehran. He received his American Diploma from Pennington High School, in Pennington, VA, USA (honor student) and his Iranian Diploma from Hur High School in Tehran (honor student). His graduate education was at the University of Houston, Houston, Texas, USA. He received his Doctorates of Dental Surgery (DDS Degree) from the University of Tehran and completed his Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences from 1987-1991 and was valedictorian of the National Board Exams in 1991. In 1995 he completed his fellowship at the University of Basel at Basel, Switzerland and obtained full Professorship in 2007. He has published 17 books, 41 proceedings from international conferences, supervised 63 doctorate dissertations and has published 150 papers indexed in PUBMED and SCOPUS with an h-index of 15. At present he is : Editor-in-Chief of “Trauma Monthly” medical journal, International Editorial Board member of the JOURNAL OF ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY (USA), Associate Editor of the Biomedical Central Journal “BMC Oral Health” and "BMC Research Notes"(UK) , “Dental Hypotheses” ,“Open Journal of Stomatology” and Case Reports in Dentistry journal. He is Section Editor of "Annals of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery" (UK), Editorial Board of Advances in Stomatology journal , the Journal of Multiple Sclerosis (USA), Science PG Clinical Medicine Research (USA) and the Plastic and Aesthetic Research Journal (Hong Kong) and the Diabetes journal (USA). He is also CE faculty of “Dentistry Today Journal” (USA). Being one of the founders of the BMSU Trauma Research Center more recently, he was granted 1st place prize at the Bagher Alum National Research Festival in 2010 and was awarded 2nd Place Prize at the 16th International Razi Research Festival on Medical Sciences that same year for his research. The Iranian Society of OMF Surgeons awarded him "Most Published" in 2009 and again in 2010. Following this, he was chosen for membership in the National Elite Foundation later that year. In 2013 he was accepted in the Academy of Medical Sciences and awarded 1st place prize in 2014 at the Shaheed Hedayat Book festival and 5th place in the annual Bagher Alum Awards (2014); in late 2014 he was awarded 2nd place prize as Top Researcher in the 1st festival of the Azad University of Medical Sciences; he is listed in the Marquis Book “Who’s Who in the World” (1999-2014) and in “Who’s Who in Healthcare and Medicine” (2002-2014).
