From there, we’ll start our warm-up walk starting from the St. Mary’s Cathedral entrance to the park. After a Daily Mileage - 5 miles nice, scenic hike along the lake, we’ll meet for a fabulous welcome dinner in Terrain - Rolling hills Killarney. Duration of hike - 3-4 hrs The Cahernane House is located quite close to the center of Killarney and from the National Park. Our hiking for today will take place around the lake and up Torc Waterfall (where you’ll likely see or hear Daily Mileage - 7-9 miles some Red deers!), with an optional extra loop to Mangerton Mountain. To Terrain - Rolling hills refresh, we’ll get lunch at Muckross House Restaurant or if you prefer, you can have a picnic lunch. Duration of hike - 3-4 hrs Later on in the day, we’ll visit Killarney Brewing Company for a beer tasting, Hotel - See Day 1 which will be followed by a dinner at Muckross Open Farms. Here, we’ll experience and learn about old traditions and crafts times long before electricity was invented. We’ll enjoy traditional foods and celebrate with music, song and dance! DAY 3 Highlights The day starts with a quick drive to the Gap of Dunloe. Then, we’ll take a boat across the lake back to Killarney. DINGLE PENINSULA We’ll stop for a pottery demo at Louis Mulcahy Pottery at Dunquin. We’ll also have a brush-up Irish language lesson this evening before dinner. Daily Mileage - 9 miles During our stay in Dingle, we’ll be based at the Emlagh House, a small, Terrain - Rolling hills cosy and elegant property located right on the Dingle Bay and the Atlantic Hotel - Emlagh House Ocean. Delve Daily Mileage - 10 miles deeper with us into the Irish Gaeltacht and discover this unique ancient language, still spoken by the local people. We’ll then have an afternoon Terrain - Rolling hills brewery visit to Dan Crean’s. Duration of hike - 3-4 hrs We’ll take a quick shuttle back to Dingle town for an evening dinner on your own. Cancellations and Refunds All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing as soon as possible to Ciclismo Classico. Exceptions to their cancellation policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather or personal emergencies. There is no refund for unexpectedly leaving a trip early or arriving late. The purchase of short-term travel insurance policy is strongly recommended. Cancellation fees are determined as followed: Days before departure – Cancellation fee 121+ days - 50% of the deposit* 91-120 days - 100% of the deposit* 61-90 days - 30% of the trip price 31-60 days - 60% of the trip price 31-44 days - 100% of the trip price *You may transfer your trip deposit to another departure in the same tour season up to 90 days before your original departure with payment of a $100 per person transfer fee. Prices quoted are subject to adjustment without prior notification. OR your deposit (currently $600) may be carried forward to the following year as a credit toward the final balance of a tour. At the time of booking, we will ask for another $600 deposit to secure your spot. Carried-forward credits expire at the end of the year to which they are applied.
