Chairman's announcements TRAN priorities to SURE Committee The Coordinators decided to invite the Chairwoman of the SURE Committee, Ms Haug, and the Rapporteur, Mr Garriga Polledo to the November TRAN Committee meeting. A draft opinion will have to be adopted at the January TRAN meeting. Comitology The Standing Rapporteur on Comitology, Mr El Khadraoui, informed the Coordinators on the draft for future referral concerning "Detailed rules for civil aviation personnel". The Rapporteur suggested that at the meeting with Mr Goudou, Executive Director of EASA, on 9 November this topic may be brought up. The Chair informed the Coordinators of the request of Mr Kohlicek to raise the issue of Glider Blanik L13 at the meeting with Mr Goudou. This glider was involved in an accident in Austria in June 2010. PE450.946v01-00 2/9 PV\835979EN.doc EN Future Funding of TEN-T The Coordinators discussed the future funding options of TEN T and will come back on this issue on 30 November after consultation within political groups. Any other business Eurovignette Following the political agreement on the Eurovignette Directive in Council, the Rapporteur suggested to explore the possibilities for further progress on this file with the Belgian Presidency based on the first reading in Parliament. The Coordinators agreed to this exploratory mandate. Relations with national parliaments On the basis of the Commission Work programme for 2011 the Coordinators will discuss in their November meeting topics for possible cooperation with national parliaments in 2011. Information by the Chairman: The Coordinators will hold an extraordinary meeting with the Commission on 16 November at 9:00 a.m. on the update of the black list of air carriers. The citizens' AGORA on poverty and the effects of the economic and financial crisis will be postponed to 27-28 January 2011. The text of the TRAN position paper was adopted by written procedure on 12 October 2010. The Coordinators agreed that the Chair sends a letter to Commissioner Kallas with regard to the follow-up that the Commission reserves to Parliament's resolutions. Concretely, in its reply to Parliament's resolution on airline bankruptcy of 24 February 2010 the Commission mentions an impact study of the different possible solutions; this impact study "will form the basis of a Commission proposal to be presented in 2010 (...)." Other issues Ms Lichtenberger raised the issue of transport and traffic to Strasbourg - it was recommended to put this issue back on the agenda when the calendar for plenary sessions is discussed. Mr Grosch informed the Coordinators that Mr Marinescu wants to follow-up on the volcanic ash crisis - lessons to learn. This initiative will be introduced via Mr Grosch to one of the next Coordinators' meetings. 8.
