PLAY TEST AREA You can try our hitting wall for both squash and tennis rackets at our Northwood store. RE-STRINGING SERVICE We have hundreds of strings in stock, including Babolat, Prince, Luxilon Big Banger, Technifibre, Ashway, plus our own brand Strings. RACKET TRIALS You can demo any racket from either store. The full purchase price is charged as a deposit for demos. Customers are responsible for frame breakages during the trial period, unless due to a manufactures fault. It is the customer responsibility to return the racket safely using a safe method. HOW TO CHOOSE A TENNIS RACKET Each of the manufactures has a different method of categorising rackets. We have simplified the whole process for you. We have given each racket a power level based on: 1.The speed of the ball off the racket- we have tested all the rackets. 2. The head size- the bigger the racket head the more powerful the racket. 3. Thickness of beam- the thicker the beam, the more powerful the racket 4. Weight of racket- Light rackets (225g to 280) is generally more powerful. Medium rackets are generally (280g to 300g). Heavy rackets are generally (300g to 340g) these are control rackets. So which type of racket should you go for?
