Our days upon the earth are a shadow. Soon we go whence we shall not return, to the land of darkness and the shadow of death; let the proud and the vain consider how soon the gaps are filled that are made in society by those who die around them, and how quickly Time heals the wounds that Death inflicts upon even tender hearts; and from this let them learn humility, and that they are but atoms in the great mass and drops in the immense ocean of humanity.” Valley Contact Information Larry Roberts, 32°, KCCH Personal Representative of the SGIG & Rental Manager (503) 226-7827 x3 [email protected] Kent Cox, 32°, KCCH Wayne Ford, 32°, KCCH Venerable Master Master of Kadosh [email protected] [email protected] Paul Temple, 32°, KSA Nathan Neff, 32°, KCCH General Treasurer General Secretary (503) 226-7827 x6 (503) 226-7827 x1 [email protected] [email protected] Eric Gazow, 32°, KCCH Bill Anton, Sr., 33° Orient CFO, Clarke Trust Admin. The highlight for many of us this month was of course the Portland Valley Reunion. Overcoming stresses due to illnesses and the absence of some actors, the Rite came through! An excellent program executed with dedication and "professionalism" was presented to nine Portland Valley initiates, nine Vancouver Valley initiates, and two initiates from the Eugene and Medford Valleys. Our 6th Degree teaching that "performance of duty should be its own reward" notwithstanding, we should all be proud of and congratulate the teams and casts who made the reunion happen. On a similar note, I also had the wonderful opportunity this month to attend the Medford Reunion. It was a real treat to experience seven degrees performed in a different venue sans stage and observe how well a collection of the Valleys of southern Oregon can come together and present a wonderful initiation experience.
