Wrekin aged 0-15 Lakeside South has the highest proportion of the population aged 0-19 at 27.3%. Six locality areas have a higher proportion of 0-19 year olds than borough wide, with the highest proportion in Woodside where almost a third (32.0%) of the population are children and young people, followed by Brookside at 30.8%. Note: Tables 1 to 3 use Office for National Statistics (ONS) population estimates. Telford & Wrekin Council believe these estimates are low and not reflective of the level of growth in the borough. We use our own model for projecting population which has been used in table 4. Both estimates have been included in this report as our model does not estimate population at locality level.
