Her other stellar partners included Kevin McKenzie, Choreographer: Jiang Qi Fernando Bujones, Patrick Bissell, Ross Stretton, Robert LaFosse Music: La Revue de cuisine, Bohuslav Martinů, and Robert Hill. Ms. Carberry also appeared in several other Great ed. Christopher Hogwood Performances program specials. She adjudicated and taught for Paula Lighting: Nik Robalino Abdul’s Company Dance. She taught for Wayne State University, Costumes: Jonnie Lynn Jacobs-Percer Emory University and the University of Alabama. Artists’ Profiles Nutty Boy Trevor Misplay * # Martin Roosaare + x Jiang Qi, Chair and Professor at CCM Professor Jiang Qi trained at the Beijing Dance Academy and New Boy received his BFA and MFA from University of Utah’s Department of Sterling Faust * + # x Ballet. He danced with the National Song and Dance Ensemble of China, as well as the National Ballet of China. He was featured in the Boys & Girls film, “The Song of Chinese Revolution,” before joining Ballet West in Audrey Barrett, Emily Chu, Luca De-Poli, Sterling Faust, 1986 as a soloist. He was promoted to principal dancer in 1988 and Jessica Goldstein-Kral, Gabrielle Gulan, Lauren Hansen, Asia a ballet master in 2000. He is Scenic Design: Michael Tevlin and Nik Robalino a graduate of Butler University and received his Master’s Degree Costumes: Michael Tevlin in Ballet from the School of Music at Indiana University. Aaron Hanekamp * # He spent four years on the dance faculty of the Interlochen Center for the Arts. An internationally respected teacher, he was awarded Trevor Misplay + the Queen’s Silver Jubilee Award by the Royal Academy of Dance David Morton x in London. He has twice been named Master Artist by Indiana Arts Commission; and has received a National Endowment for the Arts Eve Choreography Fellowship. Gia Bolton * # Kelly Korfhage + Ellyn McCarthy x Deirdre Carberry, Assistant Professor at CCM Deirdre Carberry joined CCM’s faculty in the fall of 2008. At age 14, Serpent Ms. Carberry was invited by Mikhail Baryshnikov to join American Mandy Milligan * # Ballet Theatre. She was and continues to be the youngest company David Morton + member to have performed solo and principal roles. She danced with Corinne Elkins x ABT for 12 years. At age 13, she won the silver medal at the First US International Ballet Competition. She studied with some of the most I renowned pedagogues and illustrious dancers.
