This works on 4R’s -Recycle, Reduce, Reuse, Recreate the college waste. It is at present recycling green leaf waste, paper waste and plastic waste. Eco Club is making it self-sustaining by selling out manure, recycled paper and its products-the shredded plastic piece bags and the medicinal plants grown on homemade manure to commercial purposes. Recently, its by-products were sold at SurajKund Mela at Haryana. Teachers, students and non-teaching staff equally get the opportunity to learn the process of paper recycling through the installed machinery. Through this, let us all join hands for a Carbon-Free, Minimum-Waste Generation, Green and Clean DRC.
