Wii System Update with Mario Party 9?

Wii System Update with Mario Party 9? ANGEL_LA_HEAD 3 posts since Apr 9, 2013 I wanted to play Mario Party 9 and made sure my Wii system was up to date before inserting the disc. It said it was so I went ahead and put the game in the console and it said that the system needed to update. I went ahead with the update and it went pretty quick until it got to the last 1%. It remained on that for 4 hours and then said the update failed. I returned to the wii menu and selected the disc channel and it says unable to read disc. I don't understand what is going on and have no idea how to go about fixing this. The wii only about a year and a half old, if that. Re: Wii System Update with Mario Party 9? Apr 10, 2013 12:22 PM Since it can't read the disc now, I'd try a different copy of MP9. ANGEL_LA_HEAD 3 posts since Apr 9, 2013 4.
