In baptism register 1816 as blacksmith, 1825 and 1833 as frameknitter. 1841 age 40, whitesmith, householder, married to Mary, children Sarah, William and Elizabeth, also Edward and Mary, probably children of Sarah, living at the north end of the Main Rd. (Bradmore 1841/2). 1851 age 52, whitesmith, married to Mary, with grand-daughters Mary Ann and Eliza (Bradmore 1851/50). 1861 age 65, blacksmith, married to Mary, still at the north end of Main Rd. but in the cottage next door to the one they had before; date of move not known (Bradmore 1861/1). 1867 Bunny Estate rental renting house and garden at £2/10/- pa. 1867 John Jackson received sheets from Bunny & Bradmore Charities. 1871 age 76, married to Mary (Bradmore 1871/14). Probably the Mary James who married John Jackson at Bunny 15.4.1816, both of Bradmore. 1841 married to John (Bradmore 1841/2). 1851 age 52, married to John (Bradmore 1851/50). 1861 age 65, milliner, married to John (Bradmore 1861/1). 1871 age 63, married to John (Bradmore 1871/14). Buried Bunny 12.12.1871 age 74. Anne Jackson bapt. Bunny 29.12.1816, daughter of John, blacksmith, and Mary of Bradmore. Mary Jackson daughter of John of Bradmore born after 1818, married 8.12.1839 while under age to Thomas Bosworth of Bradmore son of Benjamin, also under age, and moved to Ruddington. See Bosworth. Sarah Jackson born c1819, daughter of John and Mary. 1841 age 20 in parents’ house (Bradmore 1841/2). 1851 Sarah Gregory age 32 born Bradmore with husband James Gregory age 28 stocking maker born Hinckley Leics and children Emily Gregory 7 and Martha Jackson 3 both born Nottingham, at 2 Pleasant Row, Nottingham. 1861 Sarah Jackson age 41 private laundress born Bradmore as boarder with head of household James Gregory age 37 unmarried framework knitter born Hinckley, with children Thomas Jackson 8 winder, Ellen Jackson 5 scholar, both born Bradmore, and Sarah Jackson 3 born Ruddington, at East St., Ruddington. 1871 Sarah Jackson age 50, seamer, housekeeper to James Gregory, 48, unmarried, framework knitter born Hinckley, single, with son Thomas Gregory Jackson 19, framework knitter, born St Marys Nottingham, living at Marl Pit, Back St. Ruddington. 1881 age 64, single, washerwoman, boarder in the house of James Gregory, 51, unmarried, framework knitter, in Back St., Ruddington. Sarah Jackson born c1818 died 1889 Basford district. 1891 James Gregory, widower age 68, scissor grinder born Hinckley, solo at Back St., Ruddington. 1901 James Gregory widower age 78 scissor grinder on own account at home, solo at 35 Albert St., Hinckley. 1911 James Gregory, widower, age 87 scissor grinder, inmate at Union Workhouse, 42 London Rd., Hinckley. James Gregory died Mar.qtr. 1917, Hinckley. Edward Jackson, bapt. Bunny 11.1.1837, grandson of John and Mary, natural son of their daughter Sarah. Brother of Mary Ann. 1841 age 4 in grandparents’ house (Bradmore 1841/2). 1851 not found. Edward Jackson married Caroline Pike at Keyworth 12.6.1859. 1861 age 24, farm labourer, married to Caroline with daughter Mary Ann at Nottingham Rd., Keyworth. 1871 age 32, agricultural labourer, householder, married to Caroline, with children Mary A, Henry, Sarah, Alice, Edward and Caroline, in one of the cottages forming Southwell House (Bradmore 1871/58). 1881 age 42, widower, with children Mary Ann, Alice, Edward, Caroline, John, William, Maria, Herbert and Charles (Bradmore 1881/53). 1882 received a ton of coal from Bunny & Bradmore Charities, and again in 1885 and 1886. Electoral roll, house, 1886-1903. 1891 age 55, widower, agricultural labourer, with children William, Maria and Charlie 4-room house on Far St. (Bradmore 1891/23). 1894 received a ton of coals from Bunny & Bradmore Charities. 1895 received a share of the excess funds left after purchase of charity Christmas coals. 1900 Bunny Estate rental had cottage and garden paying rent £3 pa. 1901 Edward age 64 farm labourer with wife Sarah A age 49 born Nottingham and son Charles on Village St., 4-room house (Bradmore 11/1901). Feb.1907 Bunny & Bradmore Charities granted sixpennyworth of bread weekly to Edward Jackson of Bradmore. On 1908 Bunny Estate rental paying £3 pa rent. 1911 Edward age 74, head of household with wife Sarah Ann age 60 born Nottingham (married 38 years with 11 children, 4 dead), with grand- daughter Alice Clamp 19 single born Notts (Bradmore 42/1911). (Note Alice Clamp appears to be the daughter of Roland born 1855 Nottingham, married Annie Pennick in 1894, Nottingham district. 1901 at 22 Albion St., Roland and Annie with Alice 8 ,but Roland a widower in 1911 at Canal St., Nottingham.
