Sunday Morning Mass - 11:00 AM Sunday Morning Mass - 8:30 AM Weekend Liturgy AN IMPORTANT UPDATE ON OUR FUTURE WORSHIP LIFE Saturday Vigil: 4:00 p.m. Sunday: 11 a.m. As I announced at the liturgies last weekend, one of the Weekdays: 8:30 a.m. decisions that came from the combined parish councils/ Holy Days: 8:30 a.m. & 7p.m. finance committees/core team meeting on July 1 was to have St. Pius’ church be used for one of the weekend Masses after Parish Staff we officially become St. John Paul II this Advent. While St. Barnabas’ church is and will remain the primary worship Pastor site, it seems pastoral and practical to offer the Saturday Rev. Bill Burks evening Mass at St. Pius X. bburks @piusx.com One of the main determining factors has to do with the school. There are times when Deacon , Jim McGoff our school has special events on Saturday evenings and it has proved very convenient [email protected] to offer Mass on Saturday evening in St. Pius’ church and then have parish and school communities go right out into the event that is being celebrated on the same grounds. Deacon, James Plummer Sr. Sometimes this is our Fall Festival, sometimes it is Homecoming, sometimes it is Triv- [email protected] ia night, etc. It has yet to be determined exactly what time the Saturday evening mass will be. But that should be decided well in advance of the actual merger date. As oth- Deacon, Jim Stanford er issues come forward and are decided by the representatives of both parishes that I [email protected] mentioned above, I will make sure everyone knows about them as soon as possible. Director of Administrative Services Thank you for the great support that the merger team and myself have received. Darlene Hoard Please keep all of us in your prayers. [email protected] Fr.
