JOHNS, MICHIGAN 48879 15 Cents County rings in Bicentennial year Clinton County churches and fire departments will bring in the nation's Bicentennial BATH yearwith a chime concert beginning at 11:40 p.m. New Year's eve. The 18-minute concert will be followed with a joint beU ringing from all the churches lasting 2 minutes, symbolic Harold and June'Burnett of the nation's 200 years. This will be foUowed by blowing of the fire whistles. Areas participating include: Hubbardston, Maple Rapids, Eureka, Elsie, Fowler, St. "It's a good way to start our Bicentennial year, and it h&olves everyone." Johns, OvidrWestphalia, Wacousta, City of DeWitt, DeWittTwp., Bath and several of the outlying churches. HUBBARDSTON The joint effort was sponsored by the Clinton County Bicentennial Committee.
