DECISION APPROVED and signed by the Chairman. 2.0 LICENCES ISSUED UNDER DELEGATED POWERS There had been circulated copies of the Civic Government and Miscellaneous Licences issued under delegated powers between 4 September 2019 and 9 December 2019. DECISION NOTED. 3.0 PRIVATE BUSINESS DECISION AGREED under Section 50A(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 to exclude the public from the meeting during consideration of the business detailed in the Appendix to this Minute on the grounds that they involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 14 of part 1 of Schedule 7A to the Act. SUMMARY OF PRIVATE BUSINESS 4.0 LICENSING OF TAXIS, PRIVATE HIRE VEHICLES AND DRIVERS Hearing to consider request for revocation of Taxi Driver Licence There had been circulated copies of a letter from Police Scotland, dated 28 November 2019, requesting the revocation of a Taxi Driver Licence in terms of paragraph 11(2)(a) of Schedule 1 of the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982. Also circulated was a statement from the Taxi Driver concerned. The applicant was present at the meeting and represented by his legal agent. After hearing both parties and requiring further information, the Committee agreed that consideration of the request for revocation be continued to its February meeting.
