CLIMBING Speed Climbing The timing system by ALGE-TIMING is recommended by the IFSC (International Federation of Sport Climbing). The system measures the time of each competitor and also executes a false start control. A contact mat at the start checks for each competitor if he leaves the mat before the horn gives the start signal. In case of a false start it shows FS (false start) on the display board of the climber that made the false start and the printer of the timing device Timy3 WP prints the false start time. For the finish a contact mat stops the time and shows it on a display board (D-LINE or GAZ5) for each competitor. Alternatively, ALGE-TIMING offers automatic training timing systems for the fixed installation on a climbing wall. It controls all devices and receives the trigger impulses. The Timy randomly delays the start between 0.5 and 1.5 seconds as necessary according to the rules. False starts are also controlled and the display boards receive the data string from the Timy. Multichannel MC9: This is the docking station for the timing device. All external triggering devices are connected to the MC9. Startbeep STB1: Device with built-in horn that outputs the start tone. Contact Mat CM40x30 for Start: Controls, that the competitor does not start before the start tone. Contact Mat CM40x30 for Finish: When the competitor pushes the contact mat, his runtime stops. Display Board D-LINE: It shows the running time and runtime of each competitor. When a competitor causes a false start his display board shows „FS“ for false start. False Start Light D-L10R: The false start light shows the climbers, that a false start was produced. It is usually built into the climbing wall.
