Donnelly I opened a book by Neil Gaiman, Trigger Warning: Short Fictions and Dis- turbances, -- and imagine my surprise when I found, in the Introduction where the author comments on each of the twenty-four fan- tastical short stories, Ray Bradbury's name popped up. The story was called, "The Man Who Forgot Ray Bradbury." Gaiman said he wrote the story as a 90th birthday present for Mr. Bradbury, a long-time friend. It was a "love letter and a thank you to an author who made me dream, taught me about words and what they could accomplish and who never let me down." His editor/friend read the story to Bradbury at his bedside. Bradbury was born in Waukegan, Illinois on August 22, 1920 and died in California on June 5, 2012. He and I both have a Swedish ancestor - his mother and my father's father were both from Sweden. It's nice to know. His best known work, Fahrenheit 451 was published in 1953 and made into a movie in 1966.
