Repeat female winner Sarah Kiptoo, who took the lead from the beginning, finished at 1:13;40, a little ovser two minutes off her 2013 time. Guor Maker, a 2012 Olympic marathoner, went out with the leaders but dropped back near mile three and he held that position to the finish, coming in at 1:05:52.
