Call for Papers and Posters International Conference 2019 "Natural Resources, Agriculture and Society in a Changing Climate (NRACC_2019)” Kathmandu, Nepal 17-19 August 2019 1 1. Conference Themes • Agriculture and soil management • Forest resource management under changing climatic conditions • Water security and resource management • Disaster, resilience, and transformation in a changing climate • Policies, governance and economic strategies for livelihood security • Biodiversity Papers and posters related to the above themes are invited for presentation at the International conference on “Natural Resources, Agriculture and Society in a Changing Climate”. The conference will be organized as a number of plenary sessions led by experts on related issues. There will be a poster session for young researchers and graduate students to provide them with an opportunity to share their research findings. Papers and posters accepted for the presentation will cover original work not previously published or accepted for publications in journals, proceedings and books. A distinguished panel will assess the quality of papers and make decision. 2. Conference venue and date International Conference on Natural Resources, Agriculture and Society in Changing Climate, NRACC_2019 will be held in Kathmandu, Nepal from 17-19 August 2019. 3. Submission of Abstracts and Papers Abstracts (150-200 words) are to be submitted through email ([email protected]) in MS-word format, with a concise title, authors with affiliations and full contact addresses, and key words. Authors submitting abstracts for the competitive session should specify which category it is being submitted under. Receipt of submission will be confirmed by e-mail. Interested participants must complete the registration form (Annex 1). Notification of acceptance will be sent via email. The important deadlines are shown in Table 1. Papers should not exceed 4000 words, including references, and use Calibri 12 font with 1.5 spacing. Please follow the Chicago Manual for referencing style. All abstracts and papers must be submitted in English. The scientific panel/editorial board of the conference will review final papers. The revised papers will be published on-line as conference proceedings.
