Under EMAP, he added Radio Forth and Borders to his responsibilities and he was Bauer's Regional MD for Clyde, Forth, West Sound, Southwestsound and Borders until summer 2009. In 2010, he was asked by Global Radio to launch Capital FM where he was MD until May 2014 when ownership switched to Communicorp UK. Paul is currently CEO of the Royal Bank of Scotland Kiltwalk Charity; a director of the UK's oldest Chamber of Commerce - Glasgow - and a director of Hamilton Park Racecourse. Previously he was a director of Scottish Enterprise Glasgow and was Chairman of "Scotland against Drugs" which was a UK Government all-party initiative. He acquired a controlling interest in YOUR Radio (Helensburgh and Dumbarton licences) in 2015 from Newsquest and has successfully turned the station into profit after it sustained serious and long term losses under the previous management. His company is also the operator of the OFCOM Trial DAB minimux for the Glasgow area operating a single frequency network broadcasting 9 small commercial and community stations on DAB. He is a founding director of GO Radio Ltd and was it's main financial backer until recently.
