As most users who have access to the JSC Home Page know, the most current directory information is available online from two sources: the Global Address List (GAL), which provides the directory information as part of the e-mail address of an individual, or through the online directory available at http://phone.jsc.nasa.gov. The Online Directory includes a wealth of information, such as the current JSC Organization Listing, lists of facility managers, conference rooms, off-site contractors and links to other directory services. Recognizing that the need still exists for a hard copy version of the JSC Telephone Directory, the Information Resources Directorate is making a compromise. This version of the directory represents the LAST one of its kind-a completely new printed version made available to directorate, division and off-site contractor offices. Where Does It Go From Here? From this point forward, sections of the book will be made available on the Online Directory Web site as they are updated. Needed sections may be printed at your local printer. Organizations with valid requirements for hard copy versions may still request them by contacting the JSC Print Shop at 281.483.6156 or the IRD Customer Support Office at 281.483.7593. What's Included? The Online Directory includes most of the traditional sections that you’re accustomed to seeing. See the table of contents for a full listing. To ensure that only the most current information is available in those areas used primarily by onsite residents, the telephone directory no longer includes printed versions of the list of facility managers, conference rooms, the blood drive schedule, etc. Instead, Page 3 contains the URLs for these lists. Quick Tips: • For the most current information, use the Telephone Directory link at the top of the JSC Home Page at http://www4.jsc.nasa.gov/ or go directly to http://phone.jsc.nasa.gov • Any questions?
