In the 1940s and 1950s under the guidance of Toscanini, Scherchen, Bernstein, and Celibidache (with a complete cycle of Beethoven Il crociato in Egitto symphonies), Konwitschny (with Wagner’s Ring (The Crusader in Egypt) cycle), and Stravinsky, the orchestra presented a series of historic concerts. In the following years the most Heroic melodrama in two acts distinguished conductors worked with the orchestra, among them Bruno Maderna, Herbert von Karajan, Libretto by Gaetano Rossi (1774-1855) Karl Böhm, Claudio Abbado, Riccardo Muti, Georges Edizione a cura di Franco Rossi e Carlo Steno Rossi Prêtre, Eliahu Inbal, Seiji Ozawa, and Lorin Maazel. Contemporary operas in the 1950s included Britten’s The Turn of the Screw and Stravinsky’s The Rake’s Armando d’Orville . Michael Maniaci, Countertenor Progress, and in more recent years the first Italian production of Aus Deutschland and the world première of Mauricio Kagel’s Entführung im Konzertsaal, and of Palmide . Patrizia Ciofi, Soprano Adriano Guarneri’s Medea. In concerts the orchestra has undertaken cycles, including those dedicated to Berg and Aladino . Marco Vinco, Bass to Mahler, under the direction of conductors such as Sinopoli, Kakhidze, Masur, Barshai, Tate, Ahronovitch, Kitaenko, Inbal, and Temirkanov. The orchestra tours regularly in Italy and abroad. Principal conductors have Osmino . Iorio Zennaro, Tenor included Eliahu Inbal, Vjekoslav Sutej, and Isaac Karabtchevsky, and among guest conductors Jeffrey Tate. From Alma . Luca Favaron, Tenor Born in Strasbourg in 1964, Emmanuel Villaume began his musical education at the Strasbourg Conservatory and continued his studies in Paris, where he received degrees in Secondo schiavo . Emanuele Pedrini, Bass literature, philosophy and musicology. He also studied dramatic arts and performed in theatrical productions. Emmanuel Villaume has appeared with leading opera companies in the United States, throughout Europe and in Japan, including a series of engagements at the Metropolitan Opera in New Emanuela Di Pietro, chorus master York and at Covent Garden in London. He has led numerous symphonic concerts and opera performances for Spoleto Festival USA, including a noted Mahler symphonies Stefano Gibellato, fortepiano master cycle, the American première of Henze’s Der Prinz von Homburg, and acclaimed productions of Manon Lescaut, Der fliegende Holländer, Lakmé, Ariadne auf Naxos and Photo: akosphotography.com Don Giovanni.
