Kitchen Equivalents Spoons Game This is my game to help the students learn the equivalents. You have one less spoon on the table as you have players. When a match is made, the player grabs one of the spoons, then it is a free for all to not be the last player to grab a spoon. I have the player who is the dealer pass out 3 cards. At any time a correct match is made they can grab spoons. The dealer says PASS, and each player chooses a card to pass. Dealer gets a card from the pile and the last player creates a discard pile. The player who gets the match and grabs a spoon, has to show the match - that it is a correct match. I have the cards so that one part is black and one part is red in making a match. Attached are the playing cards and the acceptable matches. I have them run off on cardstock in a variety of colors and laminated, so they can be enjoyed without worrying about them being destroyed.
