The former Liberty golfer assists with recruiting, instruction and spiritual development within the golf program. During the 2006 season, the native of Spofford, N.H., played in 11 events where he averaged a 76.6 over 24 rounds. Powers shot the lowest round for Liberty at the 2006 NCAA East Regional in Lake Nona, Fla. Prior to coming to Liberty, Powers was a stand- out at Keene High School where he was a three-time all-state golfer. Powers earned a bachelor of science in religion with an emphasis in youth ministries in 2005 and is currently working on a Master’s of Divinity with hopes of going into full-time ministry. He currently resides in Lynchburg.
