Kenny was the highest grossing Australian film of 2006. The corporate world caught onto his talent for characterization and a quick quip, hiring him to play to huge corporate functions impersonating business icons and luminaries. His sharply honed performance and character skills were noticed by Melbourne’s Gold FM radio station, which in 1999 gave him a regular spot. Shane’s focus eventually moved towards the camera. In 2006 Shane and his brother/director Clayton Jacobson shared the IF Awards for both Best Feature Film and Best Script and the 2006 Film Critics Circle of Australia Award for Best Original Screenplay. In 2007 Shane acted in the feature film Newcastle, and in 2008 Shane completed a 5 month season of Guys ‘N’ Dolls at the Princess The- atre as “Nicely Nicely”. For his role he won a Helpmann Award – Best Male Actor in a Supporting Role. Shane reprised the role in Sydney at the Capitol Theatre for a very successful 12-week season starring alongside Kath and Kim’s Magda Szubanski, Sea Patrol’s Lisa Mc- Cune and Ian Stenlake, Mother and Son’s Garry McDonald and singing star Marina Prior. Shane has established himself a leading actor in Australian films, starring in Mordy Koots, directed by his brother Clayton Jacobson, Charlie & Boots opposite Paul Hogan, Beaconsfield the television movie, The Bourne Legacy opposite Jeremy Renner, Oddball, The Dressmaker, and most recently The BBQ. Jimeoin: Jimeoin is a British-born Irish stand-up comedian and actor. He rose to prominence in Australia in the early 1990s, and had his own TV show. He came to UK public attention between 2005 and 2008 while performing an "over the top" comedy tour of Australia's outback and major cities, which was filmed for the BBC Northern Ireland documentary Jimeoin Down Under. He has also gained international recognition and is a frequent performer at comedy festivals, including the Edinburgh Fringe where he made his debut in 1993 and where he has since appeared each August. Jimeoin's UK television appearances include Sunday Night at the Palladium (ITV1), Live at the Apollo (BBC1), 8 Out of 10 Cats (Channel 4), The Royal Variety Performance (ITV), Channel 4's O2 Comedy Gala, Dave's One Night Stand, Ed- inburgh Comedy Festival – Live! (BBC3, three consecutive years), Monumental (BBC NI team captain, series I and II), Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow (BBC1). He has also appeared on the Conan O'Brien Show in the US as well on a number of international specials for Montreal's Just for Laughs. in 2016 he guested on John Lloyd's Museum of Curiosity for BBC Radio 4. He both starred in and co- wrote two Australian feature film comedies, The Craic (1999) and The Extra (2005), both co-starring Bob Franklin. He had his own comedy television programme, the eponymous Jimeoin (1994–95) which ran for three seasons. He played Convict Griffin in the sitcom Bligh (1992). Steve Vizard: Gold Logie and multi award winning Steve Vizard is one of Australia’s most recognised contributors to the Australian entertainment industry as a writer, per- former, lawyer, program creator and producer. In 2015 Steve was a regular contributor to Channel Ten’s The Project, The Today Show, the ABCs award winning series Agony, ABCs Stop Laughing, and a multi AWG awarded writer with Last Man Standing for the Melbourne Theatre Com- pany. He originated Fast Forward and Full Frontal, Australia’s highest rating and longest running comedy shows, and hosted his own top-rating, 5 nights a week national television show – Tonight Live with Steve Vizard, for which he was four times nominated for a Gold Logie, taking one home in 1991. There are few me- dia personalities in Australia who have interviewed over 2,000 major names, and Steve’s international interviews include Audrey Hepburn, Oliver Stone, Mel Gib- son, Woody Allen, Robin Williams, Sir Bob Geldof, Peter Allen, Patrick Swayze, Bob Hope, Sir Peter Ustinov, Shirley Maclaine, Michael Parkinson, Spike Milligan, Ed- ward de Bono, Robert Ludlum, Sir Harry Secombe, Ben Elton and numerous Prime Ministers and politicians. Steve hosted his own morning radio show The Steve Vizard Morning Show for the Macquarie Radio Network, for which he was three times nominated for ACRA Awards, including Australia’s Best Talkback Presenter, and has been a regular radio host for Melbournes 3AW. As an actor Steve appeared as a regular in Mick Molloy’s comedy series The Jesters, Beaconsfield, and in 2016 The Wrong Girl to name a few. In 2010, Steve was honoured by being nominated for a lifetime achievement award for outstanding contribution to the Film & Television Industry. Paul Hogan: Paul Hogan was working on the Sydney Harbour Bridge before rising to fame in the early 1970s with his own comedy sketch programme, The Paul Hogan Show, which he produced, co-wrote, and in which he played a panoply of characters. The series, which ran for 60 episodes between 1973 and 1984, was popular both in his native country and around the world. In 1985, Hogan was awarded Aus- tralian of the Year and was also inducted into the Order of Australia. During the early 1980s, Hogan filmed a series of television ads promoting the Aus- tralian tourism industry, which aired in the United States. In particular the adver- tisement featuring the phrase “Shrimp on the Barbie” which aired from 1984, was particularly successful. Later in the decade, he appeared on British television in a long- running series of advertisements for Fosters’ Lager, in which he played an earthy Australian abroad in London. The character's most notable line (spoken incredulously at a ballet performance) "Strewth, mate, there's a bloke down there with no strides on!" followed Hogan for years, and the popularity of its "fish out of water" humour was repeated with his next endeavour. Hogan's first film, Crocodile Dundee (1986), featured a similarly down-to-earth hunter travelling from the Aus- tralian Outback to New York City. The film became the most successful Australian film ever and launched Hogan's international film career. It won him a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Comedy, as well as an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay, and a BAFTA Award nomination. Following the success of Crocodile Dundee Hogan starred in the sequel in 1988 and these two films have taken over half a billion dollars at the worldwide Box Office. Most recently Hogan starred in the highest grossing Australian film of 2004, Strange Bedfellows, and in 2009 Charlie & Boots opposite Shane Jacobson. Michala Banas: Michala Banas is a well known face on Australian television, her first appearance was in a commercial at only 18 months of age, and she is best known for her role on McLeod’s Daughters from 2004 to 2008. Since then she has starred in television series Neighbours, Nowhere Boys, Winners & Losers, and Upper Middle Bogan, and the adaption of Scooby Doo. Banas is an accomplished singer, and in 2003 released a single, "Kissin' The Wind", which made the top 30 on the Australian Recording Industry Association singles chart. In 2009, Banas filled in for Fox FM's Jo Stanley on The Matt and Jo Show while Stanley was on maternity leave. That same year saw her star in the national tour of the Broadway musical, Avenue Q, playing the roles of "Kate Monster" and "Lucy the Slut". Banas is currently one of three celebrity faces for Proactiv Solution in Australia and New Zealand. Fiona O’Loughlin: Fiona is one of the most successful and popular Australian comedians working today, and in 2009 was awarded The Northern Territories “Australian of the Year” honour.
