SIUE Chapter The National Honor Society for Public Administration and Public Policy FULL STUDENT MEMBERSHIP IN PI ALPHA ALPHA If you have a GPA of at least 3.7 in the MPA program and have completed four of the seven core courses, and have at least 21 semester hours, you are eligible to become an full student member of Pi Alpha Alpha. Benefits of Membership in Pi Alpha Alpha: • Recognition at PAPA’s Convocation & Award Ceremony with the Pi Alpha Alpha Induction • Recognition at Graduation with optional honor cords or medallion • Lifetime membership in the National Society of Pi Alpha Alpha • Ability to fully participate in chapter governance, meetings, and activities Our programs and events range from social to academic to charitable and our committees include membership, financial, event planning, and elections. We are always looking for new people, new energy, and new ideas. If you are serious about your education and the field of public administration, please consider joining.
