Married to ■ Actively involved with local community life, Janice. Martin has lived and worked for over forty charities and projects years in this area ■ Martin has regularly attended Parish Council ■ A County Councillor since 1993 and its Leader meetings in the area and successfully responded since 2005 to requests and issues ■ Former Parish Councillor including 16 years as ■ Martin was awarded the OBE for services to Local Chairman Government in Lincolnshire in 2008 and voted national council leader of the year in 2010 ■ Governor of St George’s Academy School, Sleaford Dear Elector I am offering myself for re-election as your County Councillor. As someone who lives in the area, with a strong track record of community service, combined with the successful experience and authority as council leader, I believe that I am uniquely qualified to represent you at Lincoln. I have been able to promote many positive improvements to our area as well as help prevent some unwelcome ones. I have also campaigned vigorously for our county. If elected I will continue to work with Parish Councils, schools and other community groups to ensure that your interests are looked after irrespective of party politics.
