The occurrence of Sand in exposed river bed of Tiru is present inside the Quarry Area 2. The cross sections has been drawn and the cross section area has been calculated & the Sqm area considered 3. The BD for Sand has been adopted at 2.83 [reference from Agriculture information. in] 4. The total reserve of lease area calculated based on i.e. mining area & Depth recommended by GSDA. The details are given below in Table: Sr. Length Width Area in Depth Volume in Bulk Reserves in Brass No. In m In m Sq. m In m Cu.m density L W A = L * W D V = A * D B. D. Qt = V / 2.83 1. 200 17 3400 0.50 1700 2.83 1700/2.83=601 Thus the total net reserve taking Mining, the Sand calculated is 1700 cum this reserve can be worked in for granted one year period @ 1700 cum as per auction schedule. The life of deposit will be till existence of Tiru river bed as deposit gets replenished every year. 4.0 MINING 4.1. Mining The Dongargaon sand area is a virgin area on the river bed. Extraction (Mining) of sand from the river Tiru river at Village Dongargaon Tehsil- Jalkot and District Latur, for mining, as per the depth recommended by GSDA. 4.2. Proposed Production & mining Operations: The lessee has sufficient Reserve of sand to work at 1700 cum /one year for after agreement. The lessee proposes the production of Sand @ 1700 cum /one year, from there the lease is due for another Mining plan.
