Fourth-year head coach Taylor Wray shared his excitement about beginning the 2015 season with the squad's first official full practice on January 15. "We have enjoyed getting to know our team this off-season," said Wray. "There is tremendous competition at every position, and it has intensified our training sessions. Our staff is really look- ing forward to watching this team come together in 2015." The Hawks will embark on their second year in the Northeast Conference this spring. Saint Joseph’s posted one of the most suc- cessful seasons in program history last year, going 11-4 overall and 6-0 in regular-season conference play to clinch the NEC regular- season title. Expectations for this season remain high as the Hawks begin their quest of returning to the NEC postseason. "Our goal for this group, like every team, is to do everything in our power to reach our collective potential," said Wray. "We believe if we can do that effectively, we'll have a great opportuni- ty to compete within the NEC."
