It is the 3rd song on that album and I really liked the [Verse 3] ● Everyone comes, but only I stay ● Nowhere to look, nowhere to turn to fall away ● What if I should call it off? ● Hold up my demands with my heart uncrossed The standard version of the album Every Open Eye had 11 songs with 5 official singles Leave A Trace, Never Ending Circles, Clearest Blue, Empty Threat, and Bury It and one could argue that now “Down Side Of Me” should be consider a single with the recently released live version. In my book that is a pretty successful 2nd album. Today’s podcast is focused on updating fans on the latest news. Since the last podcast, I have gotten a couple of more requests to record Fan Q&As but I haven’t had time to record them yet. You can now download a copy as of October 20, 2017 of CHVRCHES cover of the song “Call It Off”. The original song was by Tegan and Sara and this new cover by CHVRCHES is on the new Tegan and Sara album called “The Con X” . So what is up with CHVRCHES album #3? Since the last podcast there have been a significant increase in indications and warnings that the new album is nearly done. ● Lauren recently posted on Twitter “We haven’t played a show in a long time and I’m excited to dust off my microphone.” ● She also tagged her Halloween costume picture with #CHV3 ● Most importantly though in separate Twitter posts both Martin and Lauren responded to questions about #CHV3 as being soon. ● It was also Iain’s birthday Nov 2 and several public posts had #CHV3 attached to them. ● So things are definitely progressing and fans are really pumped. #3.) As mentioned in the last couple of podcasts, CHVRCHES are in the Archie comic book series #2 and #3 as the Archie band goes out on tour and needs expert advice and friendship from CHVRCHES. The #2 edition is out and I do recommend picking up the #1 edition as it is a good intro to the overall story line. The #3 edition is expected in early December.
