Fans do not remember there being any seats. The next Pme they came to Tucson, they played before approx. 70,000 people in the U of Arizona Football Stadium in 1977. Aaer the Pckets were sold for this Community Center show, they moved the !concert start to an earlier Pme so that both Marshall Tucker and The Mac could play longer sets. August 30, 1975 – Los Angeles, CA Billed as the Sunshine FesPval. The Mac opened for Loggins & Messina and Rod Stewart with !Faces. Tower of People also performed. 54,000 fans aQended. August 31, 1975 – San Diego, CA The Mac appeared on a bill with Rod Stewart & Faces, Loggins & Messina and Lynrd Skynrd. 35,000 !fans aQended and this gig was a sellout. The advance arPcle regarding the show referred to the band as being all BriPsh band. Secondly, they menPoned that Bob Welch had just lea the band and that he had been replaced by a new guitarist named Stevie Nicks! It goes on to say that the band had also added a new female vocalist named Lindsay [sic] Buckingham! The review of the concert was also laughable. The criPc stated that Fleetwood Mac’s music was disposable because it didn’t have the ability to touch people the way Bob Dylan and Pete Townshend did.
