She was born Thursday, Manuel Abbott, 63, husband of Geneva Maddox Abbott, died Jan. 11, 1912, in Lincoln County to the late Everett and Eva April 22, 2009, at his residence. Born June 21, 1945, in Boyle Gastineau Sims. Mattie was a farmer and homemaker, a County, he was the son of E. Manuel Abbott of Danville and beautician, a former employee with Cowden’s Manufacturing the late Geneva Lane Abbott. He was a conductor for Norfolk in Lancaster and the Five & Dime Store for Vernon Floyd. An Appreciation of Life service will be 2 p.m. mother-in-law, Essie Jewell Sherrow and a brother-in-law, Tuesday at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home, by Bros. Glenn Maddox, both of Junction City, Ky.
