Each year 20 books are nominated for the Rhode Island Antonio Adrian Aceto Children's Book Award. The reading levels of the books Hannah Rosalia Bagshaw Bria Valentine Bernardo range from grade three to five. Annually, we challenge our Caitlin Teresa of Avila Brown * fifth graders to read as many of these titles as possible. The Giulia Padre Pio Carmosino best part of the challenge is that the books are so wide in Corinne Veronica Cifelli topics and reading level that the students are able to find Aaron Christopher Coccoli many books that interest them and allows them to reach Mathew Peter Corrente beyond their comfort levels! This past week, we held The Joseph Anthony D’Ercole Miccolo Joseph De La Rosa Rooster Games, where teams compete in Olympic style Julia Augustine Deal events that tests them on the content of the books.
