It consisted of brothers Brian, Dennis and Carl Wilson, their Cousin Mike LoVe, and Al Jardine. An additional member BruCe Johnston joined the group in 1965. Their musiC, characterized by a sound of tight voCal harmonic texture, influenCed by 1950’s rock-and-roll and rhythm-and-blues, exuded a spirit and style associated with southern California surf music.
