Freight rates 2015 Quick overview- price list This price list includes most of Royal Arctic Line A/S’ freight rates. Charges, terms of storage and other conditions may be found in the freight rates www.ral.gl The route between Greenland and Canada/USA has its own freight rates which follow international transport regulations and conditions. Conditions and charges are not included in this folder, but are available from Customer Services in Nuuk or can be found on Royal Arctic Line’s homepage. BAF/CAF A BAF/CAF (bunker and currency adjustment factor) surcharge is added to the total freight rate. The current BAF/CAF surcharge together with regulation dates may be found at www.ral.gl Upernavik Investment contribution An investment contribution is added to the total freight rate. Uummannaq The current investment contribution can be found at www.ral.gl Ilulissat Price for general cargo Aasiaat Qasigiannguit The freight rate for LCL (general cargo) is generally calculated according to size (volume rate: DKK/cbm). If the shipment’s weight exceeds 600 kg per cubic metre, payment is Sisimiut calculated according to weight (weight rate: DKK/kilo). Maniitsoq General cargo with dimensions that exceed 0.33 cbm, or weight that exceeds 40 kilos must Tasiilaq be on a pallet or base and must be manageable by forklift. The pallet/base’s dimensions and Nuuk weight are part of the shipment and therefore included in the freight rate calculations. Minimum freight Paamiut Minimum freight is the minimum amount that can be charged.
