Muhammad Bin yahya, from Muhammad Bin Ahmad, from Al Sayyari, from Muhammad Bin Simail Al Qazy, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’farasws the 2nd, said, ‘I said to himasws, ‘May I be sacrificed for youasws! What are youasws saying regarding the Fast, for it is being reported (in a Hadith) that they (people) would never unite in the (matter of) Fasting?’ So heasws said: ‘But it is the supplication of the Angel which has been Answered with regards to them’. So I said, ‘And how is that? May I be sacrificed for youasws’. Heasws said: ‘The people, when they killed Al- Husaynasws, Allahazwj Blessed and High Commanded an Angel who called out: ‘O you unjust community! The one which killed the family of its Prophet! Allahazwj will neither harmonise you for Fasting nor for (Eid) Al-Fitr’.1 1 Al Kafi – V 4 – The Book of Fasts Ch 74 H 1 3 out of 9 The Amal of the Months www.hubeali.com The Exclamation of Takbeer (the Greatness) of the first night of Shawwal ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ َعي ُّي بْ ُن ُم َحَّمد َع ْن أَ ْح َم َد بْ ِن أَب ي َعبْد اليَّ َع ْن أَبي َع ْن َخيَف بْ ِن َحَّماد َع ْن َسْيد النَّلَّقا ِش َا ََ َا ََ أَبُو َعبْد اليَّ عيي السما ل ي ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ أََما إ َّن ف ي الَْطِْر تَ ْكبيراً َو لَكنَّ ُ َم ْستُوٌر .َا ََ َُل يْ ُُ َو أَيْ َن ُهَو َا ََ ف ي لَيْل يَة الَْطِْر ف ي الَْمغِْرب َو الْْ َشاء اْْلخَرة َو ف ي َصَماة الَْ ْجِر َو ِ ِ ِ ِ ف ي َصَماة الْْيد ثَُّم يلُْقطَ ُع Ali Bin Muhammad, from Ahmad Bin Abu Abdullah, from his father, from Khalaf Bin Hammad, from Saeed Al Naqqash who said, ‘Abu Abdullahasws said to me: ‘In Al-Fitr (1st of Shawwal), there is a Takbeer (exclamations of the Greatness of Allahazwj), but it is concealed. I said, ‘And where is it?’ Heasws said: ‘The night of Al-Fits during Al-Maghrib and Al-Isha the last, and in Al-Fajr Prayer, and in the Eid Prayer. Then it is cut-off’. َا ََ َُليْ ُُ َكيْ َف أََُوَُ َا ََ تَلُقوَُ. He (the narrator) said, ‘I said, ‘How should I be saying?’ Heasws said: ‘You should be saying, َّ َّ ِ َِّ َّ َّ َّ َِِّ َّ اللهُ أَ ْكبَ ُر اللهُ أَ ْكبَ ُر ََل إلَهَ إَل اللهُ َو اللهُ أَ ْكبَ ُر اللهُ أَ ْكبَ ُر َو لله ا ْْلَْم ُد اللهُ أَ ْكبَ ُر َعلَى َما َهَدانَا َِّ ِ ِ ِ ِ َّ َو ُهَو قَ ْوُل الله َعَّز َو َج َّل َو لتُ ْكملُوا الْعَّدةَ ي َْعِِن ال ِّصيَاَم َو لتُ َكبِّ ُروا اللهَ َعلى ما َهدا ُك ْم ‘Allahazwj is the Greatest (beyond description)! Allahazwj is the Greatest (beyond description)! There is no god except for Allahazwj and Allahazwj is the Greatest! Allahazwj is the Greatest and for Allahazwj is the Praise upon what Heazwj Guided us’, and these are the Words of Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic [2:185] and (He Desires) that you should complete the number - Meaning the Fasts - and that you should exclaim the Greatness of Allah for His having Guided you’. ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ع َّدةٌ م ْن أَ ْص َحابِنَا َع ْن َسْهِل بْ ِن ِزيَاد َع ْن َعي ِّي بْ ِن أَ ْسبَاط َع ْن َخيَف بْ ِن َحَّماد مَّْليَ ُ . Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Muhammad Bin Abu Hamza, from Muawiya Bin Ammar, 2 Al Kafi – V 4 – The Book of Fasts Ch 71 H 1 4 out of 9 The Amal of the Months www.hubeali.com (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullahasws having said: ‘Exclaim Takbeer on the night of Al-Fitr, and the morning of Al-Fitr just as you did during the tenth (of Zilhajj)’.3 (3) ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ َِّ ِ ُم َحَّم ُد بْ ُن يَ ْحيَى َع ْن أَ ْح َم َد بْ ِن ُم َحَّمد َع ِن الَْقاسِم بْ ِن يَ ْحيَى َع ْن َ ِّده الْ َح َس ِن بْ ِن َراشد َا ََ َُل يْ ُُ ْلَب ي َعبْد الي عيي السما إ َّن ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ النَّا َس يَلُقولُوَن إ َّن الَْمغََْرةَ تَلنِْزَُ َعيَى َم ْن َصاَ َشْهَر َرَم َضا َن لَيْليَةَ الَْق ْدِر فَلَقا ََ يَا َح َس ُن إ َّن الَْقاِري َجاَر إََِّما يلُْطَى أُ ََْرتَ ُ عنْ َد فَلَراغ ذَل َك ِ ِ لَيْليَةَ الْْيد Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Qasim Bin Yahya, from his grandfather Al Hassan Bin Rashid who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullahasws that the people are saying that the Forgiveness descends upon the one who Fasts the Month of Ramazan during the Night of Pre-determination. So heasws said: ‘O Hassan! The worker, rather, is given his wages upon his being free (from completing his work) on the night of Eid’. ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ َّ ِ ِ َُل يْ ُُ َُْيْ ُُ ف َدا َك فََما يَلنْبَغ ي لَنَا أَ ْن َِلْ َم َل فيَها فَلَقا ََ إذَا غََر بَُ ال َّش ْم ُس فَاغْتَس ْل َو إذَا َصي يْ َُ الََّما ََ الَْمغْرب فَاْرفَ ْع يََديْ َك َو َُ ْل I said, ‘May I be sacrificed for youasws! So what is befitting for us that we do therein?’ So heasws said: ‘When the sun sets, so bathe. And, when you have Prayed the three (Cycles of) Al-Magrib, so raise your hands and say, َّ ِ ِ ِ ِ ٍ ِِ ِ يَا ذَا الَْم ِّن يَا ذَا الطْول يَا ذَا .ا ْْلُود يَا ُم ْصطَفياً ُُمََّمداً َو نَاصَرهُ َص ِّل َعلَى ُُمََّمد َو آله َو ا ْغفْر ٍ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِ ِِل ُك َّل ذَنْب أَْذن َْبتُهُ أَ ْح َصْيتَهُ َعلَ َّي َو نَسيتُهُ َو ُهَو عْنَدَك ِف كتَاب َك َو ََتُّر َساجداً َو تَ ُقوُل مائَةَ ٍ ِ َِّ ِ ِ َمَّرة أَتُو ُب إََل الله َو أَنْ َت َساجٌد َو تَ ْسأَُل َحَوائ َج َك . ‘O the One with the Favours! O the One with the Extensiveness! O the One with the Benevolence! O the One Who Chose Muhammadsaww and Helped himsaww! Send Blessings upon Muhammadsaww and hissaww Progenyasws, and Forgive me for every sin I have sinned which Youazwj Counted against me, and I have forgotten it, and it is with Youazwj in Yourazwj Book’, and fall down in prostration, and you should be saying, one hundred times, ‘I repent to Allahazwj’, while you are in prostration, and you should ask your need’. ِ َّ ِ ِِ ِّ ِ ِ َّ ِ ِ ِ َو ُرو َي أَن أَميَر الُْمْؤمني َن عيي السما َكا َن يُ َصي ي فيَها َرْكَْتَليْ ِن يَلْقَرأُ ف ي اْْلُولَى الْ َح ْم َد َو َُ ْل ُهَو الي ُ أَ َحٌد أَلْ َف َمَّرة َو ف ي الَّاِيَة َّ ِ الْ َح ْم َد َو َُ ْل ُهَو الي ُ أَ َحٌد َمَّرةً َواح َدةً .
