REPUBLIC OF SERBIA Road Rehabilitation and Safety Project GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Republic of Serbia intends using the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development [the Bank] for a project to assist the Republic of Serbia in the rehabilitation of and safety improvements on selected road sections of the national road network. The Project consists of Part A and B. Part A, which will be financed by the Bank, includes implementation of Civil Works for the purpose of rehabilitation and safety improvement on selected road sections, whereas Part B will be co-financed by the World Bank (WB), the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Republic of Serbia and will cover the realization of Road Rehabilitation and Safety Investments, Institutional Strengthening, Project Detailed Design, Project Supervision, Project Management, Project Monitoring and Audits. The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of ca EUR 390 million equivalent, including the EBRD’s loan amount of up to EUR 100 million, require the procurement of the outstanding following goods, works and services: Tendering for the following contracts is expected to begin in the second half of 2018: 1. Heavy Maintenance (Road Rehabilitation-Upgrading) of the State Road IB 35, Section: Zajecar 5 - Knjazevac 1 (Trgoviste), L=24.222 km; 2. Heavy Maintenance (Road Rehabilitation-Upgrading) of the State Road IB 15, Lot 1: Kula (Backa Topola) - Vrbas (Savino Selo), L=10.156 km and Lot 2: Vrbas (Zmajevo) - Srbobran (Feketic), L=9.492 km; Tendering for the following contracts is expected to begin in 2019: 1. Pavement rehabilitation-upgrading on the State Roads IB 14 and IB 33, Section: Border of APV (Kovin) - Ralja - Pozarevac (Orljevo), L=32.680 km; 2. Pavement rehabilitation-upgrading on the section Razanj 1 (highway) - Paracin 1 (highway), L= 25,130 km; 3. Pavement rehabilitation-upgrading on the section Aleksinac 1 (highway) - Razanj 1 (highway), L= 23,645 km; 4. Pavement rehabilitation-upgrading on the section Ruma 1 (highway) - Pecinci 1 (highway), L= 12,990 km; 5. Pavement rehabilitation-upgrading on the section Ruma 1 (highway) - Sremska Mitrovica (highway), L=13,750 km; 6. Pavement rehabilitation-upgrading on the section Razanj 1 (highway) - Aleksinac 1 (highway), 23,655 km; 7. Pavement rehabilitation-upgrading on the section Brestovac 1 (highway) - Doljevac 1 (highway), L= 6.155 km. Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and will be open to firms from any country. The proceeds of the Bank's loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of the Purchaser's country.
