Nursing Course 2012-2013 Preface The Association of the Managements of Self Financing Nursing Colleges represents 28 Nursing Colleges in Kerala. From 2007 onwards the Colleges were making admissions, purely on the basis of merit. Merit was being determined on the basis the marks obtained for the relevant subjects in the qualifying exams. • All students were to pay uniform fees. The state Government had initiated negotiations for seat sharing with these Colleges and an understanding have been arrived at, whereby 50% of the seats will be permitted to be set apart for Government allotment. • All the students would pay the same fee. Any seats remaining vacant after the last date fixed for the Commissioner to make allotments, those seats would be reverted to “open merit” category and would be filled by the Colleges. We solicit the co-operation of all concerned.
