Attention Rising 6Th Graders

th Attention Rising 6 graders Important announcement for the summer packet We are so pleased that you have chosen to attend sixth grade at T. H. Rogers Middle School. To prepare for the fall, your core class teachers have prepared a work packet for you to complete over the summer. Where is it located? The packet will be available for download from the school website starting on 6/4/2018. It can be found under the student tab. How to plan for all the work? Don’t start working on the packet immediately. Take a look at the assignments, and plan it out. We suggest that students divide up the assignments and work on some each day. You may begin the English book on the first day of August so that it will be fresh in your mind for the start of school. The summer reading book is available for pick up on 6/4/2018. When is the due date? All of the summer packets will be due on the first day of school 8/27/2018. Who should students turn in the work to? Students will need to return it back to their subject-area teachers on the due date.
