Crime Beat In two of the cases textbooks were stolen. On the 11th texts valued at $300 were Crime Beat taken. On the 14th the texts stolen were worth Crime Beat $200. In the third case notebooks and a loose-leaf Crime Beat binder valued at $30 were taken, but the student's texts were untouched, said Kenny.
