Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health organisations: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health organisations This is the ninth national report on organisations funded Online Services Report— by the Australian Government to provide health services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. In 2016–17: key results 2016–17 • 196 organisations provided primary health-care services to around 444,700 clients through 5.5 million client contacts and 3.2 million episodes of care • 189 counsellors from 88 organisations provided social and emotional wellbeing services to around 16,300 clients through 77,100 client contacts • 80 organisations provided substance-use services to Online Services Report—key results 2016–17 around 39,400 clients through 197,700 episodes of care. aihw.gov.au Stronger evidence, better decisions, improved health and welfare Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health organisations Online Services Report— key results 2016–17 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health services report no. 9.
