Ensure you read through this helpful guide. It contains important information about where to go when you arrive and the process for collecting the Personal Assistant (PA) tickets and Access Wristbands you applied for. No PA ticket or Access Wristbands will be sent out in advance, so you will need to collect these onsite. Your PA can only gain entry with you. You must have your event ticket, photo ID and confirmation email or printed letter. We will then wristband both yourself and your PA. Read the following Arrival Guidelines so you know what to do when you arrive onsite. Please note, this guide will be added to the website but will not be printed, if you would like a hard copy then please print at home. DISABLED ACCESS BOX OFFICE OPENING TIMES: WEDNESDAY 22ND August 5:00pm 9:00pm THURSDAY 23RD August 9:00am 9:00pm FRIDAY 24th August 11:00am 9:00pm SATURDAY 25th August 11:00am 9:00pm SUNDAY 26th August 11:00am 9:00pm ARENA OPENING TIMES: THURSDAY 23rd August 5:00pm 3:00am FRIDAY 24th August 11:00am 3:00am SATURDAY 25th August 11:00am 3:00am SUNDAY 26th August 11:00am 3:00am Please note these times are approximate and subject to Health & Safety checks prior to each opening. If you arrive before these times, you will not be allowed access until the site is safe to open. EARLY BIRD TICKET HOLDER If you have an Early Bird Ticket the Disabled Access Campsite will be open from 5pm on Wednesday 23rd August. WEEKEND CAMPING TICKET If you have a Weekend Camping Ticket, then you will be able to gain entry into the Disabled Access Campsite from 9am on Thursday 24th August. 2 WHERE ARE YOU STAYING ONSITE? If you are staying in the Disabled Access Campsite, then please, pull up near to the Disabled Access Box Office to collect your wristbands, PA ticket and access bands. Once accredited you will be able to drive into the campsite to unload. You must unload within 20mins. Once unloaded you must move your car to the Disabled Access Car Park. Please follow the signage in place or ask a steward for directions. The car park is less than a 250-metre walk. If you are leaving the Disabled Access Campsite on Sunday night after the Headline act has finished, then you MUST pack up your belongings before 9pm and return your car to the Disabled Access Car Park. Otherwise you will not be able to leave until after 2am. On Monday morning you will be able to drive into the campsite at any time to collect your belongings. We do not provide accommodation, you must bring a tent. For further information on what to bring, please visit the Leeds festival website. Please note our facilities cater for people staying in the Disabled Access Campsite. If you are staying in other campsites onsite, unfortunately then these facilities cannot be replicated. If you are staying in the General Campsites and arriving by Public Transport, then please go to the Disabled Access Box Office as it is located next to the Public Transport Hub. This includes the train, shuttle bus and coach. If you are staying in the General Campsites and arriving by car, then please request a Disabled Access Car Parking Pass. When you arrive at the Disabled Access Car Park, please go to the Disabled Access Box Office on arrival to collect your Access wristbands and PA ticket. You will then be able to enter the general campsites via Rachel’s Gate. If you are staying in the General Campervan Field, then please speak to the Zone Manager to collect your Access wristbands and your PA ticket. You must notify the Disabled Access Team if you are staying here. If you are staying in Pink Moon, then please ask at reception in Pink Moon for your Access wristbands and PA tickets. You must notify the Disabled Access Team if you are staying here. 3 If you have a guest ticket or are a local resident collecting tickets from the Local Resident Box Office, then you can collect all tickets from the Disabled Access Box Office. They are next door. You must notify the Disabled Access Team, so you can collect your correct event wristbands, Access wristband and PA ticket from the Disabled Access Box Office. CHECK IN ID: Please note, to check in with us, you must have Photo ID for the disabled access customer. We are happy to accept photocopies of your identification if you would prefer not to bring it with you to the festival. We accept the following forms of ID: Passport, Driving Licence, Citizen Card, ONE- ID4U, Validate, Young Scot, Connexions Card, Portman Group Card, UreLife® cards and The Access Card. BUGGY SERVICE A complimentary buggy service for Disabled Access Customers will be in operation at the below times. This service will not be available outside of the allocated times. The service is only available for the Disabled Access Customer and your PA. To see the Disabled Access Buggy route, look at the Leeds Festival Access Map (page 8 of this guide). TIMETABLE: Thursday 5.00pm 12.00am Friday – Sunday 12.00pm 12.00am 4 IMPORTANT ARRIVAL INFORMATION - TRAVELLING TO SITE Travel advice will be available via social media and the Leeds Festival website. DISABLED ACCESS PARKING: Parking and Drop Off car passes have now been sent from [email protected]. You should have received your parking pass by now. Please check junk folders. If you haven’t received this pass, then please email us on [email protected] YOU MUST DISPLAY YOUR PASS TO GET THROUGH THE ROAD CLOSURE PUBLIC TRANSPORT: The public Transport Hub is located next to the Disabled Access Box Office. There will be a buggy service running from the Disabled Access Box Office and then to the Disabled Access Campsite and Disabled Access Arena Entrance. There will be waiting times during our busiest periods, please be patient. If you are staying anywhere else onsite, then please note, we are unable drop you off anywhere else onsite due to strict vehicle restrictions in place. GENERAL CAMPSITE: If you have chosen to stay in the General Campsite then we advise you to request a Disabled Access Parking Pass or Pick up and Drop off Pass. If you have chosen to park in the general car parks you must notify the Disabled Access Team, we can’t pick you up from the general car parks so you must make your own way into the Festival. 5 LEEDS ACCESS SITE MAP 6 THE ACCESS TEAM & HELPERS The Access Team Natalie, Mina, Katie, Amanda and Alice have all been working in Head Office planning for the festival. One of the team will be visiting the Disabled Access Campsite everyday around 11am. If you have any feedback, that we may be able to deal with onsite, please direct it to them in the Campsite Info Tent. CAMPSITE MANAGER: We have two campsite managers who are on duty from Thursday – Monday, providing cover 24 hours a day. They are identifiable by their unique tabard. Please do not hesitate to ask them any questions or advice on anything you are unsure of and report any issues to them – big or small. CAMPSITE HELPERS: We have campsite helpers known as CATS roaming the campsite, helping unload luggage and assisting the campsite managers. During busier arrival times the helpers may be assisting other customers. Please note they are there to assist the Disabled Access Customers where required, they are not there to erect tents or carry additional party members luggage or beer! Please be mindful and respectful of this. CAMSPITE SECURITY: Security are based in the Campsite 24 hours a day. They are easily identifiable by the coloured, numbered tabards they wear. If you require any assistance please do not hesitate to ask them, they are fully briefed and there to be helpful. Please feed back to the campsite manager any issues good or bad and try to note the number on their tabard. ARENA MANAGER: Amy Bower is back this year ensuring that the Arena is running smoothly. At every Disabled Platform in the Arena we will have a team of security and stewards. If you require any assistance, please do not hesitate to ask them as they are there to be helpful. Please report back to Amy any issues, good or bad, and try to note the tabard number of the person that dealt with you. If you need to report anything to Amy, she can be found on the platforms or at our brand-new info tent located by the cross roads in the Arena, next to the Information Tent. Please see the Access Arena Map for exact location. If you are unable to locate a member of the Access Team, we advise locating a member of festival staff. They can always contact us on the radio, though there might be a slight delay getting to you during busier periods.
