Our community is not going to need just laborers; we need dreamers, thinkers, and visionaries. We have learned and grown more through our involvement in the arts than any other experience. Our future leaders require the creativity and boldness that are developed over a lifetime through involvement in the arts. Join Bryan and Mindy in supporting ArtsBuild today! Beautiful performances broaden all of our horizons The enduring value of performing arts is the way it pushes us to see the world with new eyes. That’s why we’re proud to support the Chattanooga Theatre Centre and the performances it brings to life. ©2020 First Horizon Bank. MEET THE CAST GREER CALDWELL (Ginette, Waitress, Marci, Suzette in Moose Cast) is excited and thrilled to be returning to the CTC stage after her most recent performances as Mrs. Banks in Mary Poppins (Theater Award for Best Supporting Actress), Mrs. Phelps in Matilda, and Kate Monster in Avenue Q (Theater Awards for Best Actress and Audi- ence Favorite Actress). Greer is co-founder of the local community activist organiza- tion Moms for Social Justice. She is also a mom of five amazing kids! Thanks, as ever, to my husband Joe for encouraging and supporting my other love, even during a pandemic. JEREMY CAMPBELL (Pete, Randy, Phil in Squirrel Cast) has previously been seen in Love/Sick, The Library, Miracle on 34th Street, A Midsummer Night’s Disco, Peter and the Starcatcher, Beauty and the Beast, A Room with a View, and Hello Dolly. Jeremy made his CTC debut as Lancelot in Camelot. He is a graphic designer who has volunteered his talents creating posters and videos for CTC shows, and hopes one day to write, direct, and star in a film or play. ANNIE COLLINS (Sandrine and Hope in Moose Cast) is a Chattanooga native who has been involved in theatre since she was eight years old. Growing up, she was an active participant in TheatreQuest and the Youth Theatre at the CTC. For the past seven years she has worked with the Summer Academy in various capacities from teaching assistant to site director. More recently, she has started teaching youth acting classes, working year-round with the Youth Theatre, and serving as a tech- nical assistant. Some of her favorite roles include Beatrice (A Servant of Two Masters), Gretchen (Boeing, Boeing), Bad Idea Bear (Avenue Q), and Emily (Our Town). ALEX FORD (East and Lendall in Moose Cast) is excited to return to the CTC Stage and elated to be sharing it with his best friend and bride, Rebecca. Recent credits include Little Shop of Horrors (Orin, the Dentist) at CTC and Guys and Dolls (Sky Masterson) at the East Brainerd Community Theatre. Alex is the theatre director at East Hamilton High School as well as a worship leader at Christ UMC. He enjoys reading, exercising, and playing with his sons. He’d like to extend a big thanks to his mom and in-laws for watching the boys during rehearsals. Shout out to his students in the East Hamilton Theatre Company. Be honest. Be kind. REBECCA FORD (Glory and Gayle in Moose Cast) is still a little shocked that she is performing at the CTC. She previously had the honor of playing Sister Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls at the East Brainerd Community Theatre, which brought back to life her love for theatre, after an accidental sabbatical, during which she became a nurse, got married, and had two boys. She loves running, planning vacations, lis- tening to true crime podcasts, and watching other people cook and decorate their homes. She is especially grateful to her parents and in-laws for helping watch her boys so she can come play theatre, and to her husband for continuing to encourage her to chase her dreams. LAUREN JOHNSON (Glory and Gayle in Squirrel Cast) is excited to return to the CTC stage after a hiatus, with her last production in Les Miserables as Eponine in 2014. Since then, she moved to New York, moved back to Chattanooga, and birthed/is raising her mini-divas, who are 3 and 5 years old. Off-stage, she leads worship at ChristWay Chuch, works in real estate, devours chips and queso, and watches a lot of princess movies with her littles. Other credits include Maria in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music, Noel Coward’s Blithe Spirit, The Witch in Into The Woods, and Anything Goes. Words can’t express how excited she is to get to play opposite of her extremely adorable husband this time around. This performance is dedicated to the real MVP: Our babysitter. MATTHEW JOHNSON (East and Lendell in Squirrel Cast) is excited to be returning to the CTC stage since his last performance here in 2012 in Anything Goes. He is also delighted to be sharing the stage with his wife and getting to play opposite her as this has been a life-long wish come true. Since his CTC debut, he has performed with other companies and performed roles such as Judd in Oklahoma, Noah in Children of Eden, Paul Sycamore in You Can’t Take It With You, along with various other ensemble roles over the years. In his free time, Matthew enjoys spending time with his wife and two girls, tinkering in his shed, hiking, spending time at the shooting range, and the occasional video game when time allows. He is active with his church, ChristWay, where he plays guitar/bass and sings on the worship team. JOANNA LEWIS (Ginette, Waitress, Marci, Suzette in Squirrel Cast) is so grateful for the opportunity to perform on the CTC mainstage once again. Some of her favorite previous CTC credits include Wonder of the World, Pig Farm, The Importance of Be- ing Earnest, The 39 Steps, Avenue Q, and most recently as Mary in Mary Poppins. Joanna is so proud of what CTC has accomplished, continuing to be resourceful and create quality productions despite the many obstacles for the performing arts ev- erywhere. She would like to thank both of the casts and crew for coming together to tell this story. She would also like to thank Scott Dunlap for this opportunity, as well as her wonderful husband and two little girls for always being supportive in her creative endeavors.
